The Adecco Group has an exciting opportunity for a Compensation Analyst at our North America Headquarters in Jacksonville. As part of the Compensation team, the Compensation Analyst recommends, develops, implements, and administers various base and incentive pay programs, individually or as part of a project team.

Join our service-focused team, where our goal is to provide prompt and effective recommendations and solutions to managers through strong partnerships with HR Business Partners. Programs may include base pay administration, annual merit, short-term and long-term incentives, sales incentives, and executive compensation.

Customer Service -

Responds to standard and complex requests for information about salaries, job grades, ranges, job descriptions, etc. Recommends compensation for new hire and incumbent pay.

Provides consultative services to business partners and managers regarding job design, pay policy, and best practices.

Builds and continuously enhances relationship with key internal stakeholders and external partners/vendors to ensure business requirements are fulfilled, risks are mitigated, and value is optimized.

Analysis –

Evaluates internal (incumbent) and external (market) information.

Measures the effectiveness of pay programs by utilizing performance and HR metrics, obtaining customer feedback, analyzing financial models and other tools. Tracks total compensation trends for planning of budgets, and forecasts. Develops and maintains compensation tools and frameworks, including salary structures, survey data and systems, customer service tools and metrics. Works collaboratively with other functions within Human Resources to streamline and improve processes and enhance support.

Reviews, updates and creates job descriptions to determine legal compliance, as well as adherence to identified company standards and objectives. Evaluates and advises on internal equity, legal compliance and consistency of compensation and salary administration programs.

Project Management –

Evaluate, plan, implement, follow up, document, and provide updates on compensation projects. Identifying needed resources, evaluating alternatives, identifying and tracking costs (if applicable).

Provides recommendations and/or develops communication and training material for compensation project rollout, policies, procedures and best practices.

To be considered for this opportunity you will have a bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, finance or a related field with a minimum of four years of experience in compensation as your primary role.


  • Excellent customer service skills, including effective follow up.

  • Knowledge of the principles, practices, and standards of compensation administration

  • Knowledge of the principles, practices, and standards of human resources.

  • Knowledge of and ability to understand, interpret and apply related federal, state, and local laws, rules, ordinances, and regulations related to compensation administration, such as the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).

  • Knowledge of and the ability to utilize tools, concepts, principles and practices of data collection and analysis.

  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships internal/external of the organization.

  • Ability to effectively manage multiple projects that may vary in nature and scope.

  • Ability to prioritize, organize and perform multiple work assignments simultaneously while meeting assigned deadlines.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word and PowerPoint.

  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel.

  • Proficient with utilizing HRIS platforms, such as PeopleSoft, as well as developing and running queries and reports.

  • Skilled in communicating effectively verbally and in writing with various levels of employees and management.
