Yodle Director, Sales Programs in Jacksonville, Florida
The Director of Sales Programs will be a key player in driving business growth through innovation, operations, and the development of sales enablement tools. This position will report directly to the VP of Sales Programs and Operations. They will establish enablement and training initiatives for a high-performing sales team, help to improve the sales process, and drive continuous innovation and improvement within the sales organization. The Director of Sales Programs will be a key contributor in the overall effectiveness and productivity of the sales organization. This leader will foster close working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the sales organization s efficient operation and success. This individual will be responsible for a small team of employees focused on program and content development. " Drive innovation throughout the sales team focusing on content and programs that will deliver a best-in-class sales experience to customers and prospects " Provide leadership to the sales organization and implement clear objectives that reflect the company s business goals " Partner with senior sales leadership to identify opportunities for sales process improvement, and to successfully implement new initiatives. " Partner with Marketing and Product teams to launch new programs through the sales organization. Foster an organization of continuous improvement. " Build ongoing materials and programs that clearly communicate the value proposition of company products and programs to prospects, customers, and the members of the sales organization. " Define and launch optimal performance measurements and performance management programs that are required to ensure the sales organization success. Align reporting, training, and incentive programs with performance. " Continually analyzes sales plans and operating plans to optimize future results and effectively scale the organization. " Identify and drive new opportunities to test and implement within the sales organization vis-e-vie collaboration with Product and Marketing Partners, Business Development. " Assist with creation and implementation of talent development programs within the sales organization.
Proven leadership in the development and design of effective programs that drive sales, revenue, and customer satisfaction. " Strong strategic thinker with innovative ideas that translate into practical solutions. " Analytical and creative thinking skills. Ability to address major business issues and provide thought leadership to the broader organization. " Strong written and verbal communication skills. " Demonstrated ability to develop comprehensive plans that lead to sales effectiveness. " Ensure all activities have clear objectives, sound thinking, and ways to measure quantitative results. " Proven track record driving sales productivity, growth and profitability in a dynamic organization " Strong ability prioritizing and meeting deadlines " Potential for monthly travel to sales and operations offices in U.S. and Canada " A Bachelor s Degree; MBA is preferred " 10+ years experience " Experience leading sales programs, and building effective marketing tools for sales organizations, preferably in a phone-based environment " Experience in digital marketing industry, and selling to SMBs preferred " 5+ years of experience managing direct reports.
