Position description

The Division of Medical Oncology at Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, FL is conducting a search for a Medical Oncologist with interest and expertise in head and neck cancers and endocrine malignancies. This position offers opportunities for clinical research. The ideal candidate would be committed to developing investigator-initiated, translational trials in patients with head and neck cancers and endocrine malignancies.

Our model of care involves a multi-disciplinary team (nurse practitioner, nurse and oncologist), as well as specialists from otolaryngology- head and neck surgery and radiation oncology. As Mayo Clinic is a comprehensive cancer center, our patients have access to comprehensive diagnostics and clinical trials through our phase I program, the phase II consortium, and national cooperative group studies.

The position carries an academic appointment in the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine, rank commensurate with experience. Candidates with prior experience in head and neck cancer and endocrine malginancies is preferred.

License or certification

Board-certification or board-eligibility in Medical Oncology is required.
